OPENING OF THE WATERCOLOR EXHIBITION BY TONIO PERRELLA
>> The exhibition is free and open from 18:00 to 22:00 until 28/09.
Exhibition, of considerable interest, of the watercolors by Tonio Perrella, an artist who, in a creative journey along the last fifty years of the twentieth century, stops with his works of refined sensitivity, the true "civilization of the sea and stone" of Gallipoli and of Salento.

Meeting on Nunzio Pacella, Eugenio Vetromile and Michele Pagliarini with slide show.

Speakers:

Camillo De Donno, Elio Pindinelli and Cristina Pagliarini with musical interludes and background music by maestro Tiziano Corrado. Meeting on the characters of Gallipoli who have left their mark on the development of the city. A temporal journey to discover the "Beautiful City" through the projection of historical slides by Pagliarini and current slides by Nunzio Pacella.

At the end of the evening, the president of "Puglia & Mare" ALESSANDRA BRAY will deliver the "VELA LATINA" AWARD to ANGELICA CARLUCCI, the 66-year-old gynecologist from Trani who in recent days has accomplished the feat of swimming across the Strait of Messina, not for competition, but because "he has always loved the sea".

in collaboration with Giovinazzo's "Vedetta sul Mediterraneo" presentation of the novel "The power of the vanquished" (Edizioni Piemme) - NICOLÒ CARNIMEO interviews the author PINO APRILE.

A stage of the "Sea of Ink" project returns - in collaboration with the "Vedetta sul Mediterraneo" Cultural Association and its president
Nicolò Carnimeo - for the dissemination of the culture and literature of the sea.
Pino Aprile's novel is set in Santa Maria di Leuca.

Plenary assembly with high school delegations, with the participation of the experts from the LAG Terra d’Arneo, the representatives of the "Sentinelle del mare" project, the AMP of Porto Cesareo and the ITS Tourist Foundation, with video projections and live testimonies.

EVENT EVENING WITH DANCE, VOICES, MUSIC AND AWARDS

Evening event conducted by Barbara Politi and Giuseppe Albahari with the participation of the ensemble "Terra del Sole" (Antonio Ancora voice, Alessandro Gazza accordion and Enrico Tricarico piano) the couple of dancers Los Puglieses (Ettore Morra and Sara Ruggio) and the Chromophobia musicians .

Nomination of the winner of the ICARO competition and delivery of the “VELA LATINA” AWARDS to personalities from the scientific, political and entertainment community and to ordinary citizens who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to the sea.
